The owner, Elaine, ensured a warm welcome and took all necessary precautions, reflecting a commitment to guest safety—an essential aspect in today's world.The accommodations were clean, though some kitchen items could use a little extra attention. The presence of surfboards and a beach bag added practicality and fun to our stay, perfect for families like mine. The complimentary Wi-Fi was a great boon for remote work, and the central location allowed easy access to nearby amenities.While the 1940s cottages exuded charm and were well-maintained, the addition of modern conveniences like a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, and kitchen utensils ensured a comfortable stay.Although the property lacks certain upscale amenities, the competitive pricing and cozy ambiance make Cottages By The Ocean a worthy choice for those seeking a budget-friendly yet pleasant retreat by the coast.
